Kiln Dried Oak Firewood is known for its even and dependable long burning. Oak is a dense wood and has a high calorific value. Great for a established fire, releases good heat over a longer period time when compared to other wood types. The density of oak means that it may be harder to light when compared to birch. We recommend plenty of kindling or add to an established birch fire. Our firewood is dried to an average moisture content of less than 20% and cut to 25cm (10 inches) in length making them perfect for your wood burner, stove, log burner, firepit & chiminea.

Our crates are wrapped in a thin plastic sheet to maintain their dryness during the shipping process. To keep your firewood dry, place these in a sheltered storage space with plenty of air circulation. Make sure that firewood is kept off the ground so that moisture doesn’t seep in.
